During the Clippers-Timberwolves play-in game, an animal rights protester was literally glued to the action.
TNT sideline Allie LaForce stated on the broadcast that a woman attempted an apparent on-court protest when she cemented herself to the Target Center floor during the second quarter Tuesday night.

“I was just told by security that she apparently had glued herself to the floor and she refused to lift her wrist up,” LaForce said. “They were trying to pull her off and she was resisting trying to keep her wrist glued to the floor.”
According to ESPN’s Sarah Spain, the incident occurred under the opposite basket from where Minnesota was shooting free throws with 3:34 left in the first half, and was in response to the treatment of chickens at Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor’s farm. “Glen Taylor Roasts Animals Alive,” read the woman’s shirt.

Spain shared a news release from the animal rights organization Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) accusing Taylor of inhumanely slaughtering 5.3 million chickens in a recent mass slaughter following an outbreak of avian flu at Taylor’s Iowa egg plant on social media. The group claims to have video footage to back up its accusations, and the protester has been identified as activist Alicia Santurio.
The woman was swiftly hauled away by security after the adhesive wasn’t powerful enough to hold her to the floor during the protest, which forced a brief pause in the game.
