At this point, all of America should stop and take a hard look at the state of Florida as Republican superstar and Governor Ron DeSantis continues to prove his potential to be President. Although some might disagree, facts are facts – DeSantis has led his state through a pandemic, stagnant economy, and even a war on Big Tech. Each and every time a problem arises, the governor proves he has the traits that Joe Biden is desperately missing. And while he has already done more than any Democrat, DeSantis is taking yet another stand. This time, it’s protecting our children from “trans surgeries.”

Recently, the Florida Governor was taking part in an interview with the Daily Caller when the question about transgender reassignment surgery came up. There are some so-called experts that believe the youth, children, should be allowed to make the life-altering decision. Luckily, DeSantis wasn’t having it, saying, “I’m very much opposed to chemical castration of minors, I honestly didn’t know this existed until a few years ago. That would be something I would sign for sure.”

DeSantis’s words come after the governor already signed SB 1028 into law back in June. The “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act” bans transgender women and girls from competing in women’s sports.

After signing the controversial bill, DeSantis said, “The bill that we’re doing today will ensure fairness for women athletes for years to come in the state of Florida. It says that athletic teams or sports that are designated for females are open to females. And we’re going to go based off biology. It’s discrimination against our women athletes to force them to participate against male athletes. It needs to be a level playing field, and it needs to be fair, and it should all be based on biology, not based on ideology.”

Although a conservative, DeSantis was sure to challenge his own party members when it came to standing up for what is right. He told the Daily Caller that corporate pressure is most likely the cause for skittish governors.

“I think it’s just corporate pressure; I think the corporations have gotten very woke; they tend to genuflect before whatever the most recent left-wing cause is. They just don’t like getting the blowback; they don’t want to be the subject of a social media mob or things like that. And so I think that they have taken that posture, but you can’t let them — like some woke corporation, you’re going to turn over the reins of government to them and let them set the policy? That ain’t happening in Florida, and so we’re not gonna be deterred by that”
